Citipower

Citipower

A fine example is the one hundred metres of banquette seating The Seatery has been commissioned to upholster for the Citipower building in Market Street, South Melbourne. This project commenced in 2014 and is being completed in three stages. The upholstered banquette seating will have a variety of fabric, creating different looks as fifty different types of fabric will be used, supplied by six fabric suppliers, producing three different types of upholstered banquette seating.
Shrine of Remembrance

Shrine of Remembrance

The iconic Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne called upon The Seatery when it refurbished it’s Visitors Centre. The Seatery upholstered a large decorative panel 3 metres high by 8 metres long, made up of 50 upholstered panels of various sizes in New South Wales Leather in the colour red, representing the poppy, the first flower that grew in northern France after the First World War finished.
City West Police Complex

City West Police Complex

The City West Police Complex, a 15 storey purpose built office and police station house for Victoria Police on the edge of the CBD Melbourne required upholstered bench seating and banquette seating to be placed throughout the building. They naturally called upon The Seatery to upholster the seating in a multi coloured bright yellow, orange and black vinyl, with a fluted stitch detail.

Meridian Energy

Another energy company, Meridian Energy in Collins St, Melbourne used The Seatery’s skills to upholster four bench seats at 2.8 metres long which are situated between columns and look straight out.windows to panoramic views of Melbourne. Upholstered in deep leather by Decore Design in the colour wattle, the seats are stunningly finished in deep diamond buttoning.
The Box Hill Hospital

The Box Hill Hospital

The Box Hill Hospital was granted $447.5 million by the Victorian Government for redevelopment, which began in November 2011. The Redevelopment includes a new ten storey clinical services building and some refurbishment of the existing hospital. The Seatery were commissioned to provide upholstered seating in the waiting room in a Mac+ fabric and were also contracted to upholster 248 daybeds, each 2.4 metres long in a fabric that is healthcare approved cloth by Mac+, multi-coloured in two designs.
University of Melbourne

University of Melbourne

Upholstered circular banquette seating adds style, class and comfort to the University of Melbourne’s Oval Pavilion Redevelopment in Parkville. This large upgrade by Architects Cox Architecture will retain the heritage listed turret and social room from the original building built in 1906 and add modern facilities, a larger function space and enhanced change facilities with rehabilitation areas. The Seatery were commissioned to complete a number of projects for this redevelopment, the upholstered circular seating was the first they delivered. In the colour Brick, the 3.4m diameter circular seat is in a Pelle Leather in the design Spectrum
ANZ Bank

ANZ Bank

When the innovative building, the ANZ Hub was first built at The Docklands, Melbourne by Architects Hassall Ltd, The Seatery were commissioned by Jacaranda Industries to upholster the seats on three levels of the staffing areas. They have since been called on to refurbish existing slatted seating in an internal, open communal area. The seating is upholstered with a sub strata base and covered in black vinyl, which is fluted to imitate the slatted timber, with a stitched detail finish.

The Emporium Myer Melbourne

With denim displays being mounted at Myer stores in the Women’s Section there was a call for upholstered handles. The Seatery supplied the handles for the Premium Denim displays. Each handle is 200mm long by 240mm wide and is upholstered in belting leather with an exposed stitch running around the perimeter.
