Captain Baxter

A contemporary, beachside location, the brief was to bring a lush, sumptuous look and feel to the venue and to make it an appealing, distinctive destination in the highly competitive St Kilda bar scene.

This up market restaurant and bar in a prime location needed a fit out to match. An interconnected series of booth seating takes the establishment to a new level of class. The sophisticated seating design provides an efficient use of space in the form of two groups of seating, a dining area upholstered in black leather and an informal lounge area upholstered in caramel. By working with the designer the seating becomes a part of the structure of the room and not just furniture.
